Special Labour Instructor, Mr Jo

This is a social satire drama about punishing the “haves” of society. It follows the story of Jo Jin Gap, a man who used to be a member of the national judo team, and whose dream of becoming a physical education teacher is dashed when he gets kicked out for his temper. Jin Gap then becomes a civil servant who puts safety first, and works as a labor inspector for the Ministry of Employment and Labor.

Kim Dong Wook as Jo Jin Gab

Kim Dong Wook’s first notable role was in the film Flying Boys. He starred in MBC’s 2007 hit romantic comedy series Coffee Prince. Kim played a significant role in the fantasy blockbuster Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds (2017) and its sequel, Along with the Gods: The Last 49 Days (2018), winning himself several Best Supporting Actor awards.

Kim Kyung Nam as Cheon Deok Koo

Kim Kyung Nam is an actor and stage actor with past appearances in Defendant (2017), Age of Youth (2016), Gap Dong (2014), Shining Romance (2013) and God’s Quiz 3 (2012).

Ryu Deok Hwan as Woo Do Ha

Ryu Deok Hwan began his career as a child actor when he was just 6. His early TV drama appearance includes a role in Lifetime in the Country (1980-2022), which he played for 8 years. His breakout lead performance in Like a Virgin earned him critical praise and industry recognition. In 2012, he directed the short film Waiting for Jang Joon Hwan for the Olleh Smartphone Film Festival.

Park Se Young as Joo Mi Ran

Park Se Young made her acting debut in a TV drama in 2002 when she was still a child. She returned to acting in 2011, appearing in Jay Park’s “”Know Your Name (Acoustic)”” music video. She played supporting roles in family drama If Tomorrow Comes (2011), revenge thriller Man from the Equator (2012), melodrama Love Rain (2012), period epic Faith (2012), and teen drama School 2013. In 2013, Se Young was cast in her first leading role in the daily drama Sincerity Moves Heaven (also known as A Tale of Two Sisters). She also appeared on the fourth season of We Got Married in 2014 with 2PM’s Jang Wooyoung.
